📨 HEADS UP

2024–2026 L5P trucks require the E42 / Global B ECM Unlock & Upgrade Service before tuning. It is sold here as an optional +$800 add-on, so you can add it to your bundle or source it separately.

If you add the ECM unlock service, your original factory ECM must be sent in for the HP Tuners E42 / Global B unlock and upgrade process.

Typical ECM processing time is 2–3 weeks. Your truck will be down while the original ECM is being processed.

Only the original ECM from your vehicle will be accepted. Spare ECMs will not be accepted. The ECM must be fully functional and cannot have broken locking tabs, damaged connectors, or other physical damage.

🔥 CUSTOM ENGINE TUNING

Your truck receives custom tuning built around your specific vehicle, modifications, and selected power level.

Available tuning options: 0–200 HP

Before tuning, we'll collect your vehicle information, VIN, modifications, transmission information, and tuning preferences so we can build the calibration around your specific setup.

Switch-on-the-fly (SOTF) tuning will be available soon.

🔓 E42 ECM UNLOCK & UPGRADE (OPTIONAL ADD-ON)

The E42 / Global B ECM Unlock & Upgrade Service is an optional +$800 add-on at checkout. Your 2024–2026 L5P truck needs this unlock before custom tuning can be flashed, so add it to your bundle if you don't already have an unlocked ECM.

Your original factory ECM must be sent in for the HP Tuners unlock and upgrade process.

Typical processing time is 2–3 weeks due to the required HP Tuners processing.

Your truck will remain down while the original ECM is away.

⚡ HP TUNERS MPVI DEVICE (OPTIONAL ADD-ON)

The HP Tuners MPVI device is an optional +$400 add-on at checkout.

You can:

• Add an HP Tuners MPVI device to your order

• Use an existing compatible HP Tuners MPVI device

The MPVI device is used with HP Tuners software to read your stock calibration and flash your custom tuning files.

💳 HP TUNERS CREDITS

HP Tuners credits are required and are NOT included with this bundle.

Credits must be purchased separately through HP Tuners and are required for the applicable flashing process.

🏁 STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST OPTIONS

The 3.5" stainless steel downpipe is included with every bundle and is not an optional item.

🏁 TRANSMISSION TUNING

TRANSMISSION TUNING IS SOLD SEPARATELY AND IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS BUNDLE.

Transmission tuning requires the Global B TCM to be unlocked and tuned.

Contact us if you want to add transmission tuning to your setup.

🔧 HOW THE TUNING PROCESS WORKS

STEP 1 — Purchase Your All-In-One Bundle

Place your order and we'll contact you for your VIN, vehicle information, modifications, transmission information, and tuning preferences.

STEP 2 — Send Your Factory ECM

If you added the ECM unlock service, you'll receive instructions for removing and shipping your original factory ECM to us for the E42 / Global B unlock service.

Spare ECMs will not be accepted.

STEP 3 — E42 ECM Unlock

Your original ECM is sent through the HP Tuners E42 / Global B unlock and upgrade process.

Typical processing time is 2–3 weeks.

Your truck will remain down while the ECM is away.

STEP 4 — Reinstall Your Unlocked ECM

Once your unlocked ECM is returned, reinstall it into your vehicle.

STEP 5 — Read Your Stock ECM File

After reinstalling the unlocked ECM, use your HP Tuners MPVI device and HP Tuners software to read the stock calibration from your vehicle.

Send the stock read file to our tuning team.

STEP 6 — We Build Your Custom Tune

Once we receive your stock read, we'll build your custom calibration specifically around your vehicle, modifications, and selected power level.

Your custom tuning files will then be sent back to you.

STEP 7 — Flash Your Custom Tune

Once you receive your custom files, use your HP Tuners MPVI device and HP Tuners software to flash the custom calibration onto your unlocked ECM.

HP Tuners credits required for flashing are not included with this bundle and must be purchased separately through HP Tuners.

STEP 8 — Install Your Performance Parts

Once the custom tuning process is complete, install your selected performance components, including:

• Stainless steel exhaust

• 3.5" stainless steel downpipe

• EGR Solution Kit

STEP 9 — Lifetime Tuning Support

Once your truck is tuned and your parts are installed, you have access to lifetime tuning support from Slab Industries Diesel for the duration of your ownership and within the scope of the bundle.

If your parts setup changes or you add upgrades, reach out to our team for support.
